Visa Application Instructions
1. Once the foreigner's work permit notification is successfully obtained (excluding South Korea), all applicants are required to apply for a PU letter. The company of your employment should initiate the PU letter application at the Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs before commencing the Z visa application.
2. Additional information may be requested during the application process. Interviews may be conducted, and in some cases, application materials may be rejected and returned.

3. If the process of obtaining the notification letter for a foreigner's work permit has begun, and the applicant decides to cancel for any reason, the fees are non-refundable.

Passport Bio Page
Capture a photo of your passport's entire personal details page, ensuring it includes the Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) at the bottom (two lines at the bottom of the page). Upload the image using the designated button.
Handwritten Details
Handwrite/type a note with:
- ID number
- Phone & email of Chinese company's legal person/contact
- Phone of the Chinese company
- Your employee number
If handwritten, snap a pic for upload.
Photocopy of Passport and Visa
1. Ensure passport validity of at least 6 months from departure.
2. Upload the passport's photo page (with personal information), all previous China visa pages, and the entry stamp page. Ensure clear readability without reflections, shadows, or obstructions. If no exit record, upload the photo page only. Use the upload button for submission.
Graduation Certificate (Notorized copy)
For a notification letter of a foreigner's work permit:
1. Provide a photocopy of your bachelor's degree (or above).
For a work permit application:
1. Bring the original copy of the degree to the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs.
Present the original degree certificate (authenticated by the embassy or Ministry of Education) and a Chinese translation (we provide Japanese and English to Chinese translation).
Official No Criminal Record Certificate (Original Copy)
For a notification letter of a foreigner's work permit:
1. Provide a photocopy of your Certificate of Good Conduct (no criminal record).
For a work permit application:
1. Bring the original Certificate of No Criminal
2. Record to the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs.
3. Present the original certificate (authenticated by the embassy) with a Chinese translation. Both the original criminal record and embassy certificate are required.
4. The Certificate of No Criminal Record must be issued by the police department of the applicant's country. See Examples 1 and 2 for the required documentation.
Physical Examination Report
Upon entering China, visit the municipal port hospital for a mandatory foreigner's physical examination. Upload the original Physical Examination Report.
Original Reference Letter (Latest two year of work)
For a notification letter of a foreigner's work permit:
1. Submit a photocopy of your reference letter.
For a work permit application:
1. Present the original reference letter at the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs.
Include the Chinese translation, demonstrating over two years of relevant work experience abroad, aligned with current responsibilities.
Copy of Chinese Company Certificate
For work permit application:
1.Upload a photocopy of the Chinese company certificate.
For one-year residence permit:
1.Bring the original Chinese company certificate to the Immigration Center.
Visitors Temporary Residence Registration Form
For one-year residence permit application after entering China:
1.Provide proof of accommodation registration within 24 hours.
2. Register at the police station within the jurisdiction of your place of residence.
Copy of Tax Payment Certificate
After obtaining your work permit, submit the tax payment certificate of the Chinese company for the previous year as required documentation.

Apply for Notification Letter of Foreigner's Work Permit (10-15 working days)

Following the successful acquisition of the work permit, applicants are required to apply for a one-year residence permit at the immigration hall as outlined in the notice of appointment. A visa fee of RMB 400 is payable on the spot.
